MICHIGAN LAW CHANGE DELAYED

We are thrilled to advise you that at the final hour yesterday, June 30th, the Michigan Supreme Court issued an order that delays implementation of their rule which would make dates of birth unavailable. The implementation date has been changed from July 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022.

We will continue to work with the PBSA (Professional Background Screening Association) and work on behalf of our clients on this matter and keep you posted. We anticipate many courts are not yet aware of this delayed implementation schedule and will continue our communication and diligent efforts to take care of all of our clients.
Thank you to all who have engaged on this matter through letters and phone calls. This was a battle and we thank everyone for your significant efforts that allowed us this progress. America’s power is in it’s people!
Hooray!
