Does anyone know how to…Attorney requested blackbox information on a 2017 Chevrolet Spark. It was involved in multiple vehicles fatal accident. Already confirmed this vehicle is equipped with 1. Any help with this is appreciated!
Are you talking about running an EDR scan?
Yes, the EDR in a 2017 Chevrolet Spark.
You have to use a device like a OBDLinkMX+. You connect it to the vehicle and then it’s connects to an app called CrashScan on you phone or tablet. It’ll download all the information. You’ll also need an account with Collision Sciences to retrieve the data.

I would call Ron Baade at 717-436-6087 and tell him that you had been speaking with me. He has all the tools to complete the download, excellent knowledge and is a great person. What you are looking to complete is a specialized art. Usually when you download the EDR, you also want to scan the Units involved. He has the equipment to do that as well. Much success!!!
Good Morning! I would refer you to Delta |v| Forensic Engineering. They have all the equipment necessary for black box downloads and are one of three engineering firms in the US authorized to do Mack truck downloads. They are very experienced in this area.
