The Federal Bureau of Investigation will present an update and brief overview of the Internet Crime Report 2020 (IC3). This presentation will include: IC3 Mission, importance of filing with IC3.gov and investigative measures.
Attendees will learn the common scenarios of Business Email Compromises (BEC), preventative measures and how BEC’s rank compares to other crime types.
You will learn about the IC3 Recovery Asset Team (RAT), Financial Fraud Kill Chain (FFKC), both domestic and international and the new trends utilizing cryptocurrency including direct transfer and second-hop transfer.
7:00 – 8:00PM
The second half of the session will include a presentation from the FBI NY Field office regarding cases they have investigated.
